BASALTIC HEAT-INSULATED SEW-KNIT FABRIC (SKF)
Technical Specifications ÒÓ Ó 88.023.016-94 (Without restriction of validity).
The heat-insulated sew-knit fabric is made on the basis of canvases from basalt staple
the superthin fibers structured by multilayered stacking up to set thickness and stitched
by a chain stitch glass lisle thread by a string (further under the text SKF fabric).
SKF fabric concerns to group of fireproof materials, it is intended for thermal
protection surfaces of thermal units of a various configuration, pipelines, household heating
devices, it can be used in industrial and civil construction, aircraft, ship, motor industry,
in thermal, hydro-both atomic engineering and other branches. Temperature of application of
material SKF from - 50 up to + 700 °Ñ.
SKF fabric it can be made the next sizes:
- Width from 700 up to 2400 mm;
- Thickness from 2,5 up to 7 mm (depending on various facing materials and marks SKFF).
The material should be issued in the form of rolls in length no more than 30 m.
Physicomechanical parameters should correspond to the requirements resulted in tab. 7.
